Bring the hostages home

A moving demonstration in Whitehall on Sunday evening, originally organised by our friends in the Christian community, which became a powerful statement of solidarity between Jews and Christians in favour of this humanitarian cause. Thanks too to the brave Iranian dissidents who stood with us. To them we say – we know the brutal Islamist regime doesn’t truly represent your people. We thank you for your support and look forward to friendship with a future free Iran.

Our street stall in Whetstone last Saturday

Our first street stall since the 7th October pogrom and subsequent conflict was an important milestone and a great success. It was clear that many members of the public appreciated us being there and many clearly felt empowered by seeing us in public proudly advocating for Israel.

Our street stall in Whetstone on Saturday 11th November

It was of course Armistice Day, and a local group had organised a short ceremony near where we planned our stall. So naturally we joined the ceremony, observing the two-minute silence, and only afterwards did we set up our stall. We were all wearing poppies and had Union Jack bunting as well as our usual Israeli flags and symbols.

Thanks to all who helped, all who stopped to chat, and all who signed up to our mailing list.
