Well done to all who helped at our successful street stall in Palmers Green this morning. The sun shone, we had many interesting conversations, and picked up some new contacts.

A letter to the Camden New Journal

cnj-logo

Writing letters to local newspapers is an important part of our activity. In particular, when they publish letters or articles that are offensive or hostile to Israel, we need to be prepared to respond to get our views in the public domain.

The Camden New Journal is a local paper in the Camden area which is frequently anti-Israel. Recently they published a couple of letters defending Jeremy Corbyn and dismissing the furore over antisemitism in the Labour Party as a plot by Corbyn’s enemies – and incidentally making vile allegations about Israel.

Here is a letter we were able to get published in response, demonstrating that we can make an impact even in unsympathetic media.

The government suspends aid payments to the PA

Some excellent news on the political front. It appears the message of Palestinian Authority incitement and support for terrorism is finally getting through. The Sun reports that DFID (Department for International Development) is suspending aid payments to the PA pending an investigation into its payments to terrorists.
