Puma are the proud sponsors of the Israeli football team, so naturally that has brought them to the attention of the boycotters. The haters were out last Saturday in Carnaby Street, calling for a boycott of Puma. We were there to stand against them. We answered their hate-filled slogans with singing and dancing, and gave out our own leaflets to the public, pointing out the multicultural and integrated nature of the Israeli football team (the captain and several other players are Arabs) and that Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East.
Well done all on our side who braved the rain to stand with Israel.
